Essential Oils

Lightweight Oils

For Skin // Lightweight Oils are non-greasy oils. Some lightweight oils are non-comedogenic. "Noncomedogenic oils help keep dry skin supple and oily skin acne-free. That's because noncomedogenic oils don't clog pores. This allows skin to breathe, remain hydrated, and keeps it free from breakouts."

For Hair // Lightweight Oils are amazing for Low Porosity Hair. The structure of low porosity hair doesn't easily allow moisture to be absorbed into the hair shaft. Lightweight Oils will easily get into the hair shaft.

Here Are Some Lightweight Oils

Argan Oil - Contains a large number of healing properties, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Both help reduce symptoms for a number of different inflammatory skin conditions like psoriasis and rosacea. Argan oil supports  hair follicles. The antioxidants in argan oil promote cell production.

Rosehip Oil - Is loaded with skin-nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids. It also contains phenols that have been shown to have antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.

Almond Oil - Promotes heart health, stabilize blood sugar levels, prevent free radical damage and help you maintain a healthy weight. This oil makes an excellent moisturizer for both the skin and hair, and it may even help prevent stretch marks and protect your skin from sun damage.

Heavyweight Oils

For Skin // Heavyweight Oils are thick greasy oils. Some heavyweight oils are comedogenic. They can clog pores and potentially lead to acne (when using them on the face).  For the body, they are amazing especially if someone has dry itchy skin.

For Hair // Heavyweight Oils are amazing for High Porosity Hair. Having high porosity hair means that products can be easily absorbed by the hair but can't retain the moisture for a long time. Heavyweight Oils will deeply penetrate the hair shaft by sealing in the moisture.
